We are about 10 minutes (10 miles) East from the International Airport of Mexico City. It is a small city named Texcoco, where the famous poet Netzahualcoyotl was born. Our efforts right now are directed towards the rural marginal areas of Texcoco. These areas are located near the mountains. People in such places live in disperse houses and far away one from other. This fact makes their daily life a struggle for survival. | |||||||||||||||||

There are roads to reach such places; however, people living in these areas do not have a reliable mean of transportation that can bring them to the city promptly. Although there is electricty and water, families do not have facilities like telephone, or sewage in their houses, and they need to boil water before drinking it. Most of the time, they do not have enough medical facilities or schools, and kids need to walk long distance to receive education. | Caption 2 | |||||||||||||||||
